rearend that wil swap into 69 half ton
 

Been driving my 69 Panel quite a bit and noticing rearend is getting little louder. Figure not too long before it lets go.

Looking go another 12 bolt that will basically bolt in,Going to build it and just swap out. Wondering what year models will swap out,understand cpl years newer are little wider and thats not problem. Going to get posi unit and 3,73 gears for new piece.Wouldn't mind if 5 bolt axles either,better wheel options.

63-70, early 70 will bolt in and are same width. 70 1/2 are 1.5” wider but will bolt in fine. 71-80 will work with new mounts(71/72 has coil also). 71-80 will be 5 lug also

Great info thanks. I have a few prospects that will work then.Just need to see if any have posi unit already. Never hurts if I can save few hundred bucks. Thats stupid thinking I'll just spend it plus dbl on next piece.LOL

I have both 5 and 6 lug 12 bolts I am going to post in the forsale section this weekend.
