What if you had a long bed 2wd with coil spring rear, added another set of trailing arms and coil springs to the front and added a front 4wd axle? Lots of work, but cool idea.

But not as wacky as that one where it has two driveshafts and diffs on the front!

You mean basically flip the rear suspension design around with a steering axle? I think it would have very undesirable handling at best, and at worst be dangerous to drive at speed. I think the trailng arm suspension is only suitable to be just that - trailing.

Ford did it for years with wishbones and then radius rods.
