Crossmembers and Airbags

Getting close to getting the rear bag set-up done. We did some mock up work and looks like my drive line is going to hit the crossmember frame support. In your guys opinion, should I modify this one or do you know of a new center support that has more clearance? See pic with red arrow

You may have to make one.

That crossmember wasnt used on short beds so now that you’ve shortened the frame just remove it.

My drop isn't a much as yours. I had to notch about 1/2 out of the cross member. So far so good...

Looks sweet! Are you raising the bed floor?

I was planning to, but I left this one in and cut a section for the C-notch. That way I can mount the tank and compressors upfront and the gas tank in the rear. I think I will either put a new metal one in that is raised or a wood one.

I think I will leave the crossmember in for strength. I will use a piece of 6" pipe and weld it in the center of the member for clearance. Well..... that is the plan so far.

Sweet! Let me know if you need some of my shortened rear tubs.
