Ball Joint Shaft to Spindle

Anyone know what the torque level should be on upper and lower ball joint shaft to spindle?

Also has anyone have experience using wheel spacers? I need about 3/16 inch clearance for my steel rims to clear disc brake calipers.

I have always just pulled them up good and tight and then tightened them just a bit more to get the castle nut to line up wit the hole in the ball joint so the cotter pin will go in. I have used steel wheel spacers in the past with no problems. What you need to do is make sure the center up good and when the wheel goes on there are threads sticking out through the nuts. You may find the studs are a little short.
