Dominator D2500

Hello,

My airride install from hell is posing more problems. As a side note, this is self induced. I cupped my LCA's because it wasn't near low enough with the basic bag cups and plate kit. Anyway, I have dominator 2600s up front now and with an 8" pipe cup - they are a little too close for comfort. Anyone run 2500's and still think they ride OK? I have 2.5" drop spindles as well and I'm debating on going to the 2500's. Thanks!

Most run 2600 up front due to engine weight.
2500 would be fine for the rear.
I never understood how people that cup a-arms, know exactly where to "place the cup" in the lower arm,... unless you have the truck right there with you,... when you fab them.

Yeah, that probably would have been ideal. LOL. However, there is such a large chunk that comes out of them that I would think its hard to really get them off too much? Larger diameter pipe would have been ideal in this case.

I used switch suspension 2600 bags up front. the inside of my cups measures 7.625 I had to move the upper bag mount around and cycle the bag couple times but got the bag centered with about 1/8-3/16 around the bag when aired up or down. I wish I would of used larger cupped but they was cheap ($5.00) and easy to get.

Yeah, I have a little more ID than that on mine. I'm going to have to go the same route as you and just move the upper mount around. I thought of even moving the lower mount as well. I wouldn't imagine that would cause any problems, would it? I'm determined to get these bags to work after basically being call an idiot for having the LCA's cupped in the first place from a place that sells kits for these trucks, LOL. He asked why in the world I didn't put it together with the lower bag cups supplied on the bags and I said well, it wouldn't have been any lower than it was on lowered coils!

I know this is somewhat old, but the reason for cupping the arms is to get a few more inches of drop...or however tall those lower cups are.
