69/70 hood emblem
 

Does anyone have measurements for drilling for a 69/70 hood emblem? I have a 71/72 hood and want to add the emblem.

After some exhaustive site searching, I found absolutely nothing for templates!
Did you call all the body suppliers? Someone must have it.

Check this out, tape on verticals is hooked on lip.

I also measured, but from the top edge of the hood. the higher driver side hole is 2.55 inches down, the passenger side is 3.95" down. The driver side hole from the closest edge of the center body line is 1.10" to the right same measurement for the other side. All measurements are to the center of the hole. Hopefully this matches up with the other measurements posted above. I would make a paper template and double check all with the actual hood emblem prior to drilling holes. Always better to measure twice, three times before cutting or in this case drilling
