17 spline to 30 spline swap

im working on a 63 c10, rear end is a 12 bolt from what i can tell. lady brokke the spider gears an welp they dont make 17 spline gear set for the trucks anymore. so i was thinking if i ordered a 30 spline spider gear kit, an found some 30 spline 30.5" 6 lug shafts then thats all i would need to do the swap correct??

If you purchase parts for a '65 to early '70 truck 12 bolt, they will work. In fact as for the spider gears, the truck 12 bolt was used thru 1982.

Yes those spider gears should work. There is a possibility that the axle bearings and seals may need to be changed since those used in the '63 are a bit of an oddball. Just check the fitment with the new axles.
