Airbag/ panhard bar question

I apologize if this is a dumb question but here goes:

I have a 70 c20, converting to rear trailing arms and adding airbags. Question is when lowering or raising the bags does it put pressure on the panhard bar enough to push the rear end side to side?

Thanks

Yes, the panhard bar is fixed to the frame at one end and moves in an arc as the rear end travels up and down. This results in the rear end also moving side to side. If you make the arc longer (as is often done with aftermarket bars) the result is less side to side movement.

That’s is what I thought. I am going to use a longer one from cpp. So do I get my ride height and set the panhard bar? Will low cruising cause any issues with the rear end being slightly kicked out from going up and down?

The amount of side to side will be acceptable if the panhard bar is level at ride height.
