Converter recommended for c3500hd

I’m swapping my 01 c3500hd from the turd 6.5 td to a ls 6.0. I’m planning on using the stock 4l80 in the truck. Being an 01 it will bolt right up. I need to buy a high stall converter. I’m not sure if I should buy an ac Delco stock converter for a one ton truck or go to the aftermarket b&m,tci etc. the gvw is 15000 and I believe it runs a Dana 80 (need to check the ratio), 19.5” wheels.

This is a work truck that frequently carries a load.
Any recommendations?

If you are running stock motor I would get a unit from 2500hd truck as vams are ussually a bit tighter converter. If you upgrade cam ect I would get a aftermarket unit. Really depends on what you are doing with truck

Completely stock motor. I will look into a van converter, I didn’t know that. Thanks for the reply
