Spray dye interior pieces dried cloudy

Hey guys

I sprayed some interior pieces burgundy and some of them when they dried were cloudy and dull???

Any ideas what happened should I add a few more coats?

Thanks

Had the same problem happen, mine was the humidity level in the air.

Waited until the next day with less humidity, worked out fine.

Be sure to go by what the manufacture says to do.

Not saying that's your problem, but could be.

Good Luck,

I have had this too at times, but they go away as more coats are added. Make sure you keep the can shook up good during all the coats of applications. Maybe it was the humidity, it always takes me a few days to get everything done.
If your still not satisfied with the look, you can always add a light coat of satin clear.

Humidity is #1 on the list when you get a cloudy finish using rattle-can type coatings.

Very true. You cant fight humiidty when it comes to vinyl dye. Try a small space heater to dry the air near your work zone.
