M1008 CUCV Donor
Will a Dana 60 front and 14 Bolt Rear from a 1984 M1008 CUCV fit into my 1967 K20 Suburban without too much modifications?
Also will the wheels fit into the wheel wells - not too wide and be extended past the fenders? I tried to search site for answers but couldn't find them thanks in advance |
Re: M1008 CUCV Donor
As I just learned - the front should bolt right in. The rear will need spring perches and shock mounts moved. Driveline may need shortened. Width is the same.

Re: M1008 CUCV Donor
Plan on new steering components, and converting your existing drum/drum brakes to drum/disc.
Other than that, the D60 front will be fine. Also a perfect time to update all of the springs and bushings, well the bushings for sure anyways. |
Re: M1008 CUCV Donor
Well I scored a 107k mile 1992 Dodge D250 with front Dana 60 & rear Dana 70 that with the Off Road Designs are a direct bolt in - PLUS it has a 5.9 Cummins, Inner Cooler, Turbo, Transfer Case & Transmission etc that will also be installed into my 1968 Suburban....
