Fuel Pump Change - return bypass?

Hi guys. So I recently had my Qjet rebuilt and replaced the old gas tank (rust and crud) and sending unit. Still getting rust in the fuel filter, so I ordered gas lines (tank to carb) the other day. I am figuring I may as well replace the fuel pump while I am at it.

Here is my question, should I simply get the 2 port Fuel Pump and cap off the return line at the tank? or purchase the 3 port pump and use carb cleaner and compressed air to blow that return line out?

Any experience out there in either direction? Thanks in advance, as always.

Nvmd found answer upon further review. Some carbs can be pressure sensitive, so not knowing if mine is one... just gonna replace with a 3 port fuel pump and clean the line.

thx
