60 Chevy c-10 upper control arm
Dose anyone know if there is a way to replace only the upper control arm on the 60-62 c-10 with a tubular control arm for possibly better drivability ? Thanks

The geometry doesn't change so the swap will not improve the drivability. A good alignment with more caster than the stock settings will help. If you can get 3 or 4 degrees it really helps. There is a caster mod thread in the suspension section that may not work on yours but a good read. There is also the make it handle thread thats is very long but covers a lot of what improves the handling.

If a tubular upper arm positions the balljoint back a bit, you'd get the extra caster you want.
The lower arms cannot be easily moved forward for caster like the 63+ can. |
