Did you drill to clearance the eyelet on your Bell Tech Shock 2208AA

I have a 1968 Chevy C10 and ordered a set of Bell Tech Shocks. The rear shocks 2208AA only have a 1/2 in eyelet hole and will not fit the 5/8 in lower shock stud that is on the rear.

I measured the front upper shock stud and it also measured 5/8 in.

For those that have purchased Bell Tech Shocks what shock did you run on the rear and did you have to clearance the eye of the shock?

I put Belltech 2208AA on my 1967 a couple years ago. They fit fine, I did use shock relocators that came with bolts and nuts, that could be why.

I still have the stock rear shock mounts so I measured the holes for the shocks. There were no studs on the mounts, just bolts and nuts. They are 1/2" both top and bottom. Granted I have no clue if anything on this truck is 1967 including the frame. The mounts were riveted to the frame so I assume they were stock I wonder if someone drilled the mounts to use a non-stock shock on your truck.
