Check out Short Hauls thread in Square Body and Builds "Bourbon" 1975 Suburban Scottsdale" He said:
"I tried out a new set from Petersen Lighting, their "810" model, which lists as a universal fitm but it turns out the lower arms are a few inches shorter than the originals."

So other than that he said to look around at wrecking yards & CL

Re: camper mirrors help

The early CK tripod mirrors tend to tear the door skins at the mounting points.

You can Frankenstein a set of large glass power dumbo mirrors that work quite well for towing and don't look out of place on the CK trucks.
Merge the Dumbo door mount from the CK & RV trucks with the 90's G series van stem and power mirror.

Go to a big truck parts store and see if they have what you want. The one close to me has those mirrors and door mounts

Rick, I’ve been on the hunt for a set for some time, my 75 Burb came with those mirrors originally, and the mounting holes are still visible in the doors. As Eyegore mentioned above I’ve tried and failed at sourcing a new set from Peterson lighting... they look identical but don’t match up to the holes. My question for you is, are the mounting holes in the door there? Or are you just trying to add a set of camper mirrors where there were none before?

A lot of those original four point below eyeline mirrors got ripped off and the doors destroyed by women drivers ;)

Not entirely true, I replaced mine in favor of the dumbo mirrors, much cleaner look since I was not packing a camper on the back:lol:

There used to be a set of those in my junk pile before I loaded up that stuff for scrap.

They are about the quickest way to mess up a good door as anything you will find. My uncle had something like those on my 71 when he had it and hit stuff and destroyed both doors.

We had them on our 71 and I never bumped anything but my wife hit a parked pickup with the RH mirror (just tore out the screws), and I heard later that the young gal that we sold it to tore up one or both doors pretty bad

Do you have the mirrors in ok shape or do you need brackets or need complete mirror and Brackets. The after market Truck supplier of the day and all the short reg 3 bolt point mount mirror fit the Brackets that way it may give you more options. Did have set of Brackets over the hot water tank yr's till the tank blow because I wanted larger mirror again I had found no nice used reg short 3 bolt point mount mirrors then found 4 or 5 bolt point mount set mirror just used the mirror's .
