I had to do some work on the air lift helper bags the other week. They were not holding air. I first thought it was a bag but I had installed new ones about a year ago because the old set I had I blew a hole in one.
I noticed they wouldn't hold air very long less than 6 hrs they were empty. I took everything a part and found nothing wrong. So I reinstalled everything and pumped them up and they held for about a 12 hrs. I finally figured out it was the gauge leaking.
I ordered a new gauge and line kit just so I would have some extra fittings if I needed them. It's been holding now for 2 days. All 4 coils have the bags in them and the truck handles dang good for it to be a LWB. I keep around 20PSI in them all the time. I have a small compressor I can fill them with are manually out back.:chevy:
