Air lift
I had to do some work on the air lift helper bags the other week. They were not holding air. I first thought it was a bag but I had installed new ones about a year ago because the old set I had I blew a hole in one.
I noticed they wouldn't hold air very long less than 6 hrs they were empty. I took everything a part and found nothing wrong. So I reinstalled everything and pumped them up and they held for about a 12 hrs. I finally figured out it was the gauge leaking. I ordered a new gauge and line kit just so I would have some extra fittings if I needed them. It's been holding now for 2 days. All 4 coils have the bags in them and the truck handles dang good for it to be a LWB. I keep around 20PSI in them all the time. I have a small compressor I can fill them with are manually out back.

It sucks not being able to hear! LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB! After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
