BigBlock in a 79 4x4 P/U ?

Your gonna need headers, pulleys, alt brackets, power steering brackets, fuel pump, flywheel or flexplate. If you have a/c then those brackets as well. You can get the pulleys, alt brackets, flywheel or flexplate, headers, and fuel pump from summit racing. The power steering and a/c brackets you can get from GM. The rest is misc.

I guess my main concern is motor mounts. The 454 is in a 2 wheel drive suburban that I'm driving. It dosen't look as though the saddles and mounts are the same. Where would I get these.

You can use your same 4x4 mounts that are in your 79 4x4.
