Front axle shaft universal joint upgrade?

Pulled the front axle shaft universal joint from my 71 K5 Blazer and boy were they toast. In finding part numbers for replacement, I came across this information.

Dana Spicer 5-260X - 4x4 Front Axle U-joint.

Commonly known as the "Small" axle u-joint. This u-joint was found on early Jeep, Bronco, Chevy, Dodge, International and Ford 4X4 trucks before they realized that it was too small and started to use the larger and stronger 5-297X now the 5-760X Easy to spot on open knuckle front ends by measuring the bearing cap diameter. Utilizes inside "C" Clips to lock u-joint in place.

Is there an upgrade that can be one to utilize the later universal joints?

If you want to run the larger 760 joints then you'll have to get new shafts for the larger u-joints- whether you get aftermarket or used shafts from ~'73 and newer Dana 44 axles. There is no conversion joint or way to adapt a 260 shaft to accommodate the larger 760 joint.
