US Mags Indy wheel fitment

Having searched to no avail as to whether the new classic slotted U.S. Mags Indy U101 wheels will fit a 71-72 disk brake front end.
My Burban has been converted to 5 lug with 71-72 front end components and a rear axle.
I am planning on the 15x8 wheels with 4 inch backspacing.
My current wheels are only 3.5" backspacing
Any help would be appreciated. I am hoping someone can confirm them clearing the brakes so I can order all 4 at once instead of just one to test clearance.

I should have done this post 2 weeks ago as I see the prices have jumped $13 a wheel since then. DHOOO! :banghead:

I'm not sure what the concern is regarding the wheels inquired about not working w/the specifically mentioned 71-72 5-lug set-up? I've seen them on Squarebody trucks for sure & they're similar as far as the suspension & brake set-ups :

My concerns are sparked by today's "That's close enough! " manufacturing tolerances. As an example when I replaced my lower control arms with reproduction ones I had to grind about 3/16" off of the end of the control arm to allow the rotors to turn. Photo below.
My current wheels that fit with a 3.5" backspacing, very likely would rub the tie rod with a 4" backspacing. Unfortunately none of the currently available 15" slotted mags come in a 3.5" backspacing.
I was hoping that I might avoid some shipping return hassles by posing the question here first.

Thanks CG!

I wish it was more of an apples to apples comparison. But seeing how good they look on your truck assures me I'm making the right style choice. Thanks.
Great looking truck by the way!

I’ve been saving for a set for my K20 for a bit now. They look so good on these trucks.
Love yours!

Makes sense.

I think I have a set of five lug and a set of six lug mags put away somewhere with our trucks bolt patterns. But I would rather have a new set.

I'm feeling the need for new ones too! After the ordeal I had getting one of the current wheels repaired after the wreck, being able to order a new replacement if needed sounds like a great idea.

As a follow up I got the wheels and they fit great.
Even with the back spacing difference there is slightly more room between the tie rod end and the wheels outer edge compared to the old wheels.
Wheel weights need to be placed carefully so the won't contact the brake caliper.
The rear axle hub is a very close fit (Hub centric) and any deformity or build up of rust will prevent the wheel from fitting correctly.

It looks good. I'm mostly glad you went with 15". It just looks right!

Do you think 15x10s 4 inch back spacing would fit?

Re: US Mags Indy wheel fitment

I can take some pictures and get some measurements for you.
My 67 Suburban has the wider 71-72 12 bolt rear end in it. You will need to take that into consideration if you have a different rear end.

Re: US Mags Indy wheel fitment

I forgot to mention that I found that the price on the wheels through Jegs had not gone up like Summit's had.
If you're on the edge of ordering some best not delay. Summit had raised the price $13 a wheel.
