FRANKENTRUCK's GVWR door sticker?
 

I could not get my GVWR sticker off cleanly during my driver's door replacement. Nearly, but the edges of the paper underneath delaminated,...
All of the info portion came off great - just the upper edges are messed up.
I was wondering if it is possible to get a reproduction?

Cool! I'll see what I can do with this info,...FRANKENTRUCK has it's original door threshold info plate, but since I've replaced the driver's door, the GVWR and tire pressure sticker (from the door's outer edge) came off with the door.
I've salvaged enough of the original, that I might be able to 're-construct' it with a new printed black and white margin area,...

I'd like to see if I can just "repair" my old sticker that I was able to peel off fairly intact. All of my truck info areas are intact - just the border area is damaged.
I'm looking for a good pic, like this one:

I got mine done. Name is on the invoice in the picture.
After install. I never had one. It was removed by the PO.

WELL.
I don't know what you paid to get your repro sticker, TKCR, but I found the quote that I got from ECS Concepts to be a lot more than what I will pay for a plastic sticker,...especially a GVWR. It's no data plate!
Anyway, I was wondering if TKCR would be so kind as to take a really good, close picture of his new sticker, and post it here, so that I can use the photo for the GM background (or anyone else, that has a nice looking sticker)? Only the edges of my sticker are damaged.

You’ll have to save the pic and then zoom in to get a better look. These are the only pics I have. I can’t go out and get another picture, because the truck resides in Virginia now. Sold it a few months back.

I have a Red door in storage.

I thought it would not work with what you are trying to achieve.

Because it's (Red) bleed thru .

After Seeing TKCR picture, Her sticker looks like the one on my door in storage.

I'd sure appreciate it,...I just want to 'copy/paste' a good picture of the sticker, so that I can "steal" the white, outer border. Once I create a black and white "blank", I can add my old info from my peeled sticker. Then use my copier to print it all onto 'peel and stick' paper,...
ECS wanted $85 to reproduce the sticker,...

It is not the best Quality sticker.

The top edge is frayed.
Maybe another Member has one in Better shape?

I cannot believe that something this common, could be SO hard to reproduce,...and that it is not readily available. I guess that it's just been TOO DAMN LONG AGO!

It’s not hard to have it reproduced, you just weren’t willing to spend the money it took to do so. And since it is a legal tag, it should be done correctly. That’s why I forked out the money to have mine done, it was worth it to me. I wasn’t willing to risk doing it myself.
But it’s your truck, tag and money.
I was happy to help and hope it works out for you.
