Rear window rubber - small window vs large window
 

So I ordered a rear window rubber for my '64 small window C-10 but was given a large window rubber instead. Normally you'd send it back but I bought it about two years ago, so that's not an option. My question is: can I use the large rubber and trim it to size, or do I need to buy a small window rubber? Doesn't look like there's any corners on it, so I thought it might be ok to just trim.

If it is ok to trim it, does anyone have a good measurement of how big it should be?

Appreciate your thoughts on this.

Since the small window rubber is also cut to length,
you should also be able to use the large window rubber.

Good to know, thanks for the reply. Looks like I'll be cutting it up!

If anyone's got a rubber handy that they could measure that'd be helpful, otherwise I'll measure twice and cut away.

Put the seal in the cab first, and have the "join" at the bottom. Make it so that the seal overlaps a couple inches on both ends, then stuff the "couple inches too long" seal in so the ends but firmly against each other.

I wonder if you could get two small seals out of one large seal.

Thanks - great video; you make it look very straight forward. The suction cup handle looks really useful for the install.
