what size motor mount shims needed?
 
i just replaced newish rubber motor mounts with poly ones. my engine still sits too low. what size spacers should i try? i need to bring up the motor 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.

If it was low with stock mounts and poly mounts, something is not right. Maybe too high at the trans cross member?

BTW, ideally the the carb would be level, or close to it.

As they came from the factory, shimming the motor mounts was not required.. Either those poly mounts are incorrect, or something is amiss with the frame brackets.. What are you referencing to determine correct engine height??

I have never needed shims. Pics are definitely needed...
