AC Firewall Evaporator and Fan Housing
 

The fire took a pretty good whack at my original AC system. The Fiberglass box has been roasted badly and would be difficult and time consuming to restore. I bought some gelcoat thinking it was just soot on the box but it is more than just soot. The heat has cooked the fiberglass. A search appears the box is not reproduced. Dynacorn makes one that is close but not acceptable.
Did I miss something or do I need to post a want add over in the correct section? Paying for an old discard and then needing to restore is not my first choice but I don't seem to be finding anything else.

You should be able to find one pretty easily on FB or at a swap meet.

Try reaching out to member Classic Bowties. Mel has quite a large stash of parts and is a regular seller here. Plus he's a good guy. Which is nice for me as he lives across town from me. :lol: Sometimes he is out of town and slow to respond so don't get discouraged if he doesn't reply immediately.
