AC Firewall Evaporator and Fan Housing
The fire took a pretty good whack at my original AC system. The Fiberglass box has been roasted badly and would be difficult and time consuming to restore. I bought some gelcoat thinking it was just soot on the box but it is more than just soot. The heat has cooked the fiberglass. A search appears the box is not reproduced. Dynacorn makes one that is close but not acceptable.
Did I miss something or do I need to post a want add over in the correct section? Paying for an old discard and then needing to restore is not my first choice but I don't seem to be finding anything else. |

Re: AC Firewall Evaporator and Fan Housing
You should be able to find one pretty easily on FB or at a swap meet.

Re: AC Firewall Evaporator and Fan Housing
Try reaching out to member Classic Bowties. Mel has quite a large stash of parts and is a regular seller here. Plus he's a good guy. Which is nice for me as he lives across town from me. Sometimes he is out of town and slow to respond so don't get discouraged if he doesn't reply immediately.
