72 GMC Hump
1 Attachment(s)
Am I misidentifying the hump in my 1972 GMC C25?
I was going to take advantage of the Black Friday sales and order up some parts needed to finish up the fire damage. I started looking for carpet and ACC is not showing an option for a low hump on a 72 GMC. I am 99% sure it's their data base but Rock auto also did not have the low hump option for a 72 GMC. Stock Interiors does show the option on their site for their carpet. A search seems to show a strong lean to ACC product so I think I will go that direction and order using the Chevy selection. Can someone confirm this is low hump before I drop a few hundred on the wrong cut? |

Re: 72 GMC Hump
Aren’t all high humps bolted in as apposed to welded . So I would say low hump

Rockauto has a low hump listed for your truck . They just don’t list the turbo 350 .

OP has a low hump floor. On ACC select either 3spd manual trans or Auto trans and that is a 2WD, that would be a low hump carpet set. |
Re: 72 GMC Hump
Manual trans will have hole in carpet for shifter. Auto 400 is high hump. On the ACC site there is a third option for Chevy and other years, simply Auto for a low hump and no hole as far as I can tell.

I don't think a manual carpet would come with the shifter hole pre-cut in it. They leave that for you to do.
