68 K20 rubbing on pitman arm.

I’m curious if this is the correct pitman arm for my 68 k20? Only has 8 inch wide tires on factory rims and it and is rubbing on pitman arm nut. I’ll post some pictures, but everything is factory including closed knuckle axle. Or is it as simple as the axle steering limiter bolt needs to be adjusted? Also worried for when I am going to 10" tires this summer.

Looks the same as my '68 K20.
Dana 44 closed knuckle axle.
285/75 16 tires on 6.5" rims.
No rubbing. I have never looked with the steering cranked to see how close it is though.
Might be as simple as adjusting the stop bolt that you mentioned. The turning radius of these trucks is like a school bus.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. What rims are those on your k20?

Rims are just factory square body 3/4 ton wheels.

Re: 68 K20 rubbing on pitman arm.

Is the frame twisted counter clockwise, looking from front to back? That might cause the drag link nut to stick out more. What if you placed some washers between the steering box and frame at the top? Is the pitman arm on the correct spline? Is your turning radius the same to both sides? If the above is ok, then it's probably an over zealous limiter like you suspected.
