Big Notch / Step Notch - Which One?

Research hasnt drummed up much for me here - I am looking at bagging my truck and want to see what people have done for the rear in a DIY setup.

I am interested in running the Evolve notch (https://www.avsontheweb.com/evolve-63-72-c10-notch-set/) because its already prefabbed, and just needs welded for install, and also is 'longer' (which I would think would help with strength and of course looks) but am curious if it truly has advantage over the normal step notch such as the one Switch sells (https://switchsuspension.com/gm-c-10...piece-c-notch/).

I also plan on running the Firestone sleeve style bags, as Ive heard they ride well in these trucks. Any advisement on the placement? Top of axle? Front of axle? Running a watts link, so rear is not an option.

Given those choices I would choose the Switch. Pieces are cut to match the frame width. While the Avs is just rectangle tubing. Thinking myself that either one would be about the same amount of time to install, but Avs would require more fab to fit existing frame and make it look like it should be there.
Have not done a full bagged vehicle before. If I did I would do bags on the trailing arms in front of axle like the stock coil springs. Would think that placement gives more adjustment of height JMHO

That makes sense - hadnt thought about width being a big factor - I think Ill be going with the Switch ones.

I would run the bag in the factory coil spot, but I dont want to run a large drop block to achieve frame laying. I may be swapping to 4 link after all is said and done. I have a Porterbuilt front sentup that will allow me to lay frame granted I set the rear up to do so as well.

Bags in the stock location will only allow so much drop before the truck-arm makes contact w/the lower portion of the frame rail.

They need to be relocated elsewhere on the T/A w/a revised upper mount or moved to the rear end housing if the plan is to plant the frame rails on the ground.
