Best/easiest connection to 69 C20 dash lights circuit
I purchased a new Antique Automobile Radio unit for my 69 C20 to replace my 10 year old malfunctioning Custom Auto sound unit. The wiring is the same except the new unit has an extra power wire to power a dial light when the headlights are turned on. Has anyone installed one of these? What's the easiest place to connect?

If you have a stock fuse panel there should be a tab labeled CLSTR

Thanks Richard! I considered connecting there but wonÂ’t that send power to the dial light anytime the ignition is turned on or to accessory rather than when dash lights/headlamps are on?

If I remember correctly, there's also a gray wire that goes to the light on the heater control. That would be right below your radio.

Thanks Richard and Truckster! My truck has factory AC, so the CLSTR tab will actually be the easiest part of the install!
