65 Big Block Swap Question
Hey guys,
I know the 68-71 big block brackets are good to use for the swap. As far as the motor mounts. I'm looking on autozone website and a I see the duralast 2283, but it doesn't look like it has a bushing. I guess I'm asking is there a part number you guys know of that has both? Or a link to a set of them that will work? Thanks in advance. |

I used these for my BB swap. Just do a search for tubular motor mounts. They don't seem to be tubular anymore. I used these because they were the only ones I could get to clear the headers. You do have to trim the upper frame a bit. I believe you can see it in this picture. These have been working in my truck for over 10 years.

I just did a 70's chevy truck. Most guys were using headers for chevelle's. 3/4 headers

Re: 65 Big Block Swap Question
That is what I figured. I found the mounts from POL. You were right, they aren’t tubular anymore, but they do allow the use of Chevelle, nova, Camaro big block motor mounts.
