67-72 Chevy/GMC Shortened Floor Shift Tilt Steering Column
 

67-72 Chevy/GMC shortened floor shift tilt steering column. The steering column was an automatic column originally & been converted to a floor shift column & shortened 2” to give you more room in the cab between the steering wheel & the seat. The column was stripped down & checked for worn or broken parts & replaced if needed. Column was painted back black & reassembled using the following new parts. Turn signal switch & wiring harness with the correct curved wire connector, lower bearing, lower bearing retainer, cancel cam/ horn contact, tilt & turn signal lever& hazard light knob.

Any issues with using this in a 67, originally 6cyl 3ott. ? The steering box is from a 72 (professionally added the indentation in the frame)

I like the idea of 2" shortened and more room but just making sure it will work. If so Ill take it, it just might take me a day or two to get a money order.

Buy with confidence. Don has built several columns for us and we are very happy.

You will need to use the collapsible intermediate shaft from a 69-72 Chevy truck, it’s the shaft that goes from the steering box to the steering column. Other than that it will bolt right in. I will pm you with my info. tomorrow. Thanks, Don
