need a good one asap my rear bearing went out and trashed the surface it rides on :) would take a complete one I can just slide in like this below if ava. you can see mine went to hell. I can send you mine back if you can use parts from it it would be cool if I could get one that was just unbolted complete out of a rear. I will check often thanks I have cash / paypal and will come pick up if you are close.

you'll need to replace both the ring & pinion gears, as they wear together...if you merely replace the pinion, it will accelerate wear dramatically!! I think the cheapest way out for you is to find a complete 14 bolt FF rear and swap it all out...these can be had for between $100-$200.

I agree. They are made as a set and should not be mixed once they have been run.

I know it should not be done but I am willing to deal with the fact it may only last 60-79 k instead of 150k If anyone has a set or just that gear I'm ready to buy .
I do have a complete 14 ff with 4.56

would you be willing to pull the front pinion out like my pic above ? remove the front 6 bolts and it will slide right out.Just leave it all together. e-me price shipped to 17329 zip in pa

jared stewart 01-27-2004 02:19 PM

Yeah, I'll pull it out. Does anybody know about what these weigh and/or what they're worth? I can get a pretty close idea on shipping if you know the weight.

I'll try to pull it out tonight, but it's snowing and blowing here pretty good right now, so we'll have to see.

gn4u2c 01-27-2004 02:22 PM

weight is about 15 lbs . I can buy a whole rear fron the junkyard for 150.00 but I do not need the whole rear just that section. 50-60 shipped ?? let me know
