I recently traded a shotgun and a tec-22 for a 1972 GMC 2500 2 wheel drive with 8 lug wheels. It's in poor shape,the person I got it from had no money and when needed new tires went to the junk yard and pulled 4 rims/tires off a junked tow truck. I can not see the writing on sidewalls of tires. I had no real luck searching, it seems most have only 5 lugs.

What I want to know is, can I buy someones brand new tire/rim combo from a brand new truck that people are selling on eBay after they upgrade?
What size tires came on my truck?
