I had always heard bad things about this but based on what i have seen here, i may try this as well on my 91 burb. I will have to rout them under the cab step that runs from front to rear wheels (need to keep them because wife has enough problems getting in as is). this would also help since my gas tank takes up the entire length from the rear axle to about 6-9" in front of the tow hitch and the entire width between the frame.
