My crossmember would not even allow for a 1 3/8" notch. It would have required grinding the lower control arm outer u-bolt nut in half.

1 1/8" was all I could notch & maintain 1/8" clearance on all steering linkage as it moved through it's arc. Every vehicle (and potential parts combo) is possibly different & should be verified.
