My thoughts exactly.
The Baer set-up uses a larger diameter rotor that's been redrilled to 5x5 pattern & their standard PBR 2-piston calipers (aka vette calipers). But.... I really don't like the drilled rotors. There's no need for them in my application & I don't care for the 'status look'. I'm waiting to get a quote from a source for the kit (GT-Plus).
I also looked @ the SSBC set-up. I like the look of this kit because to me it appears more 'factory' appearing w/the exception of the gas-slotting (which again I could do w/o). But..... $2400 for the kit w/2" drop spindles & $2K w/o drop spindles . . . ...... that's freakin' steep. And WTF..... $400 price difference for a pair of drop spindles???????
They couldn't get them any cheaper than a regular 'Joe'?? Maybe I should call SSBC & tell them Summit offers better pricing on spindles .

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....
Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
