At little word of advice... while you have it all out, change the seals in the coupler that goes between the tranny and the t-case. I didn't change mine, and now my t-case is full of ATF. Another project that could have been avoided by a few minutes worth of work while I already had it out!
ckhd, Thanks for posting that. I usually remind folks to do that when this stuff is apart. The seals are cheap and easy to install when everything is apart. The oil seals in the adapter are what keep the tranny fluid in the tranny and the gear oil in the t-case. You don't want to do this job twice.
