It should work. You can use up to 87 if you want. You will need the porpotioning valve also. If you can go to the yard you can just take the valve off of a 70's chevy truck along with the front brake lines and they work just fine. I took one out of a 75 and set it in my 65 to see if the line already bent would work and it fit like it belonged there. You will need to run lines from the master to the valve. I have a tube bender and double flaring tool..
