I am going with the slams on my truck because of advise on here. They have internal bumpstops in case you lose air pressure. To me that's worth an extra 25 each, much less $5. Keeps the bag from self destructing if there's a leak....especially if you're not going to start off w/ a compressor. Imagine filling up and gong for a drive somewhere, going to leave and finding the bags completely deflated and not having a compressor to get the bags back up. With my understanding, you could limp home w/ the slams, but would be stuck w/ any others.
