my 91 cluster works fine on my 86, as for buffer...I don't know,(maybe u can enlighten us Kris) my cluster only plugs in one way, I spliced my vss wire into connector behind cluster.
Working fine.
I know my speed is not correct right now, as soon as I get new rear done, I'll get the speedo setup, hopefully through my local tuner.
I would like to know more about this "buffer".
