Not alot. Just buy the correct posi carrier and a shim kit and install it. Read up on how to shim it though. They say to use a dial indicator but its not completely necessary. Just paint the gears with some of the marking paint Shim till you have just a tiny but of play up and down on the ring gear tighten it down run the gears around and check the wear pattern from the paint you put on and if its to tight or loose shim accordingly. Now take in mind this is a brief abbreviated version of this but basically its whats involved.
