I too have a 2.7, but its not in a ford, and my 2 turbos are MUCH SMALLER. Unsuspecting V8's, and some V10's have no clue  |
I don't see boost until 3500 when just driving. That isn't full boost either, it's just starting to come in. The car has a 50 shot on it to help the spool. I haven't really had any issues, it'll leave off of the trans brake or via brake boosting from a roll.
