Several things to look at. First is the idle adjustment and/or the idle air mixture screws to make sure they're adjusted correctly. I'm not familiar with your carb but there should be a preliminary setting for the idle air mixture screws.

Double check the timing and I noticed that you have to pump the pedal to get it started every time. Once the engine is warmed up and if everything is adjusted correctly you shouldn't have to pump the pedal to restart it right away. There cold be a blockage inside the carb and it may need a good cleaning.
