c-tenkind, Jim is correct: the "outrigers" are the long, z-shaped pieces that extend from the firewall braces back to the rear of the cab (good pic, Jim), almost but not quite parallel to the frame. They ARE reproduced in 45" length, and LMC has them for about $10 each.
