Yes...do the research and get the resin/epoxy that is compatible with the SMC, I bought the Evercoat brand. If you use the incorrect stuff it has a tendancy to expand and contract at different rates than the rest of the top. Also be sure to prep the areas properly, the boat repair guy told me that was a key, as well as ratio of hardner and resin.
