First of all,I'd buy the hood somewhere you can pick it up. The money you save on shipping will offset and price differences. The risk of damage is eliminated...if you are careful driving home with it

On the 4L80E your options are:
1-ECM from '93-earlier GM 6.2 or 6.5 diesel. They had mechanical injection,so no engine functions on ECM...stand-alone for transmission only.

2-Aftermarket ECM for this type of swap. I'd have to dig a place up from my bookmarks or someone will chime in.

3-Manual valve body. But,who wants to do that? Not me
