I have lowered a couple of the squarebody trucks. Both of them had 15" wheels on them for awhile. The trick is the clearancing of the lower A-arm and the rim, with a 15" wheel. You may have to put a small spacer behind your wheel to get that clearance or like I had use a rim that has enough offset that the rim does not come close to the arm. Both of the trucks I lowered had 3" Belltech spindles put on them and one of the trucks, I included another 1/2" drop by using a Belltech lowering spring with the spindle. I lowered the rear of both trucks 4" with Belltech components and had no issuses there, but the clearancing of the rear shckle to the bed crossmember. I ran 245/60/15 tires on the front of both trucks with a 295/50/15 tire on the rear. I now have 17" wheels on the trucks and there is no issue with clearancing at any point. The tires on the 17" rims are 275/50/17 in the back and 255/50/17 on the front.
