I have a problem, I am trying to remove 73 GMC 1 Ton Drum Brakes in the rear, And I can not get them to budge. I have tried everything. I noticed there is a weird ring where the axle sits within the the axle case. I don't know if I should tap it out or leave it there. The Brakes on this truck have never been changed. It should be a 3/4 ton, however, the 1 ton was put there so I could haul 5th Wheel's and other Goose neck trailers.
