The street rod side was called Super Bell, and it was started by Jim Ewing back in the mid-70s. Jim branched out to truck suspension parts and named that side of the business BellTech. Jim sold all of the street rod stuff to Victor Leon, who owns Magnum Axle. Jim was a wild and crazy guy, and he died in a plane crash in the early '90s, and I'm not sure if the BellTech company is still owned by the Ewing family or if it's owned by someone else.

Back in the day, BellTech made the best stuff. In my opinion, I think they still do. I've changed out more spindles than I can count, and BellTech and Western always made the best drop spindles.
