thats a lot of camper for a 1/2 ton, the 865 weighs around 17-1800lbs. the truck can prob physically handle the weight, but what about the rest of the truck, brakes, etc.
an old 6pac only weighs about 12-1400 lbs. if your set on a camper on a half ton, maybe look at a pop up camper or something a little lighter.
my 8 ft Travelmate weighs 1700, after it's loaded, around 2500lbs. a 3/4 or 1 ton is a much better choice
